A fair market for things children make
Many children make art, crafts and useful things. Selling them could build confidence and income.
We’re looking for
- How to pay young makers fairly, with their guardians' consent
- How to tell the maker's story without any labels
Things to keep in mind
- Making things must stay creative and never become work that takes a child out of school; child labour rules apply
- Money must reach the maker and their family in a way they can see
- People should buy because the product is good, not out of pity
- A child's photo or name should appear only with clear consent, and rarely
Your next step
Every hour given here is an hour a family does not face alone.
